Exporting Research Port Items to EndNote

While using Research Port, you can save items to your login within Research Port itself. You can import these citations into EndNote by following the directions below. Note: You must use Firefox on a Macintosh and Internet Explorer or Firefox on Windows to use the directions below.
  1. Log into Research Port.
  2. Select the My Research Port tab.
  3. Click "save or e-mail selected items".
  4. In the window that pops up, click Save.
  5. Change the Record format to Citation manager and click Save.
  6. When prompted, save the file.
  7. From EndNote, open your EndNote library or create a new library you want to import the records into. (Instructions for creating an EndNote library are on the Endnote web page.)
  8. Go to the File menu, and then Import.
  9. Click Choose file... and select the file that you saved from Research Port.
  10. Under Import Options, select Multi-Filter (Special) from the drop down menu.
  11. Click Import.
