EndNote
EndNote is a multi-purpose reference solution that allows users to search online bibliographic databases, manage a personal library of references, and automatically format citations and bibliographies from within Microsoft Word. St. Mary's College has a license for EndNote; this means can be installed on student-owned computers. Both St. Mary's students and faculty can download EndNote from the link at the bottom of this page. EndNote is also installed on the computers in the Library for your convenience.
Using EndNote:
If you are having technical issues with EndNote, please contact the Student Help Desk. If you have a question about using EndNote, please contact the Library at x4256.
When you install EndNote, it will prompt you to create a library in which to store all of your information. We highly recommend that you create this library on a USB thumb drive so you can have it wherever you go; if you create your library on your personal computer you will NOT be able to access it anywhere but that machine. Instructions for creating a library on a thumb drive with Windows is available here in Word and PDF format.
